Mrs. Beth Quinn

I am Beth, deputy treasurer of finance for North Adams Community Schools. I am primarily responsible for processing the requisitions related to district financing. Just a glimpse of the finances that I am responsible for include: Textbook Rental Fees, student product & service licensing, and classroom material orders.

I have been fortunate to work for North Adams Community Schools in a variety of capacities. In August 2005, I hired into the corporation as athletic secretary for Bellmont High School. In 2013, I transitioned to the extra-curricular activities treasurer before transferring to the administration building in 2014 to serve in my current role, deputy treasurer of finance.

While my days are full with the financial operations of the district, my afternoons and evenings are full of love and smiles where I am lucky enough to serve as program coordinator for our district's 21st Century Community Learning Centers program. I spend a couple of hours in the afternoons interacting with students in grades 1-8, providing homework assistance, conducting remediation exercises, and supporting efforts to increase student test scores and assessment measures during the year.

I enjoy my positions at North Adams Community Schools and value the challenges that they bring. I work with a great group of individuals, all of whom believe in the education of our children and the hard work that it takes to keep North Adams a great school district, and for that, I am grateful.

About Me

  • I am a Bellmont High School graduate! My family and I are proud to be a part of the North Adams community where my husband, Michael, and I have raised our two daughters, Mikala and Meghan; both graduates of Bellmont High School, as well.

I am currently working toward completing my Indiana Association of School Business Office Specialist certification and work to maintain the Indiana Association of School Chief Business Officer certification, necessary for the success of our building operations.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time at home. My husband and I recently purchased the house that I grew up in, so I enjoy the time I am able to spend decorating, gardening, and lounging in and around the pool with my family and two dogs.

  • If I may be of assistance to you, at any time, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am always happy to assist you with any finance-related needs.
