ACCESS Alternative School & Credit Recovery Overview

  • The acronym ACCES stands for Adams County Center for Educational Success and serves as an alternative education center for North Adams Community School students who wish to pursue academics outside of a traditional secondary setting. Academic standards are consistent with those of the traditional environment and support the students in completing a rigorous curriculum, however, they are offered through a variety of individualized instruction techniques that better serve the needs of selected students enrolled in the program.

The Process

  • If a desiring student wishes to attend the ACCES Alternative School Program or requires the recovery of transcript credits in order to remain eligible for graduation, we encourage parents and students to schedule an appointment with the student's guidance counselor to discuss the options to enroll at ACCES.
