North Adams Bus Procedures for Riders

  • Parents,

If your student will be using North Adams Community Schools transportation service during the school year, we ask you to please review the following procedures to ensure that all students and drivers are safe while riding the bus:

1: All students and drivers will be required to wear masks. Failure of students to wear masks will be the loss of bus transportation privileges for 60 days.
2: Students will be loaded from the back to the front, and unloaded from the front to the back.
3: Students will sit in family groups.
4: A seating chart will be maintained for health purposes and Contact Tracing. If a student refuses to follow the seating chart, the student will lose bus privileges for 60 days.
5: Buses will be sanitized once/twice per day.

Please trust, these expectations are for the safety of all. We want the bus experience to be a great one for all students and drivers. It is important that everyone follow these rules each day and we appreciate your support in these efforts. We ask you to please emphasize these procedures and the importance with your child[ren] daily.
