Bellmont Middle School

Excellence: Teach it, Model it, Inspire it, Achieve it

Welcome to Bellmont Middle School

  • Welcome to Bellmont Middle School!

We take pride in serving our students with the mission to prepare all students with the skills and tools necessary to become positive, productive members of society and to prepare them for high school. Through emphasis on respect, responsibility, reliability, as well as what it means to be a BRAVE, our students are supported, not only in their academic development, but also in their social and emotional learning.

Bellmont Middle School has a population of approximately 350 students in Grades 6, 7, and 8. We have an eight-period day currently consisting of a remediation/enrichment period, five core subject periods (Reading, English, Math, Science and Social Studies) and two related arts periods. For the 2019-2020 school year, grades 6, 7, and 8 related arts (RAS) classes rotate on a Red/Blue schedule. RAS classes include: Art, Keyboarding, PE, Tech. Ed, BMS Pride and a music choice: Band, Music or Choir, as well as FFA/Ag for the 8th grade.

We welcome you to join us to see what Bellmont Middle School has to offer! Please contact Mrs. Amanda Gilbert, principal, if you have questions or would like to learn more about school and programs at 260-724-3137 or gilberta@nadams.k12.in.us
