Construction Trades Building Project
The Area 18 Construction Trades Program at Bellmont High School is comprised of Junior and Senior level students that take part in a NCCER-certified, vocational project-based learning experience. Students participating in the program are led by a construction industry-specific instructor (and, in many cases, supported by certified, area trade professionals such as electricians, plumbers) to train for and gain valuable construction-based skills to prepare them for a career in the construction industry, post graduation.
Through the training program, students gain a deeper understanding of the construction industry and the various careers within.
To make this opportunity available to students, Bellmont High School is seeking an individual/individuals with a desire to build a new home or a significant structural addition that may be willing to consider our Construction Trade students to complete the project. The project recipient will receive labor services at a much reduced cost in exchange for the services. If this sounds like you, or you know of someone interested, we are currently accepting applications for the 2018-2019 school year project! [The project is set to begin July/August 2018.]
