The Bellmont High School National Honor Society prepares to host a Canned Food & Toiletry Collection Drive to serve veteran, elderly and community members of Adams County. The Canned Food & Toiletry Drive will be held November 6-November 13.

“We are preparing for a campus-wide collection effort to take place at Bellmont,” shared Leah Thompson, communications manager for North Adams Community Schools. “All students in grades PK-12 are invited to participate in an effort to serve others in the community and learn about the importance of caring for our community!”

All donations will be used to supply area food banks in Adams County, Golden Meadows Assisted Living Home, Woodcrest Assisted Living Home and the Shepherds House for homeless veterans.

“To ensure we have a diverse collection of items that are in need, each grade level has been assigned a specific item to donate,” stated Michelle Houser, NHS advisor at Bellmont High School.
