Lauralye Miller

In life, the people we all most enjoy being near are those who radiate joy wherever they are.  The sixth grade April Student of the Month is definitely this person.  Each day she is full of enthusiasm for everything we do and always has a super positive attitude.  She is a true joy and ray of sunshine.  She is very kind to others, is always smiling and passes her happiness on to all of her classmates and teachers.  In class, she is bubbly and excited to learn.  Her passion for learning is contagious.  The sixth grade teachers believe every class needs a student just like her, and that is our reason for selecting Lauralye Miller for student of the month.

Jimmy Phillips

Jimmy is a joy to have in class.  He is always so eager to engage in the lesson or activity for the day.  He is always smiling and pleasant and does not have a mean bone in his body.  Jimmy always treats others with kindness.  If more people approached life with the positive and kind attitude of Jimmy Phillips, the world would be so much better off.  We are proud of Jimmy and happily award him the April Student of the Month.

Makenzie Moran

Makenzie is a kind, compassionate, and a hardworking student.  She is always willing to help her peers or teachers when they need assistance.  Not only does she help out others, but she isn’t afraid to come in before school or stay after school to get help from her teachers in order to be more successful and understand the material better.  Makenzie always brings a bright smile with her each day.  She is a pleasure to have in class.  We are glad to recognize Makenzie as our 8th grade Student of the Month for April!
